My name is Donyelle Hester, together with my two daughters-in-law, Anna Hester and Tori Hester we are the founders of Ekklesia Essence, a family-owned natural skin-care business located in Bladen County, North Carolina. Our company was born out of faith, family, and the desire to make a difference.

Ekklesia Essence began when one of my daughters-in-law tried to start a handcrafted soap business but became discouraged. Rather than let that dream fade, our family came together — a mother and two daughters-in-law — to lift it up and turn it into something greater. What began as a small idea quickly grew into a mission to create healthy, natural skin-care products that bring healing, confidence, and a touch of faith to others.

Our goal is simple yet meaningful: to help people with skin problems find natural, glowing confidence again. Every jar, bar, and balm we make is handcrafted with love using pure, natural ingredients — castor, avocado, coconut, mango, and more — chosen to nourish both skin and spirit.
